My Work Style & Hygiene Standards
As an experienced nail technician, I work with precision, a gentle touch and great attention to detail. I take my time with each appointment to ensure beautiful results while prioritising the health and comfort of my clients and their natural nails.
Hygiene is a top priority. I use disposable gloves, manicure and pedicure tools whenever possible to ensure optimal cleanliness. For gel and BIAB services, I use a professional dust collector to maintain a clean and safe environment.
The products used in all services are sourced exclusively from reputable salon suppliers, each accompanied by valid certificates to guarantee the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. These certified products undergo rigorous testing to meet UK regulations, ensuring both client trust and safety.
For All Manicure Services
• ORLY Cuticle Remover is used together with disposable nail files and buffers to ensure optimal hygiene and nail care.
• Reusable tools such as cuticle nippers, nail clippers and pushers are carefully disinfected according to Essential Salon Hygiene standards and stored in sterilised tool bags.
Included in every manicure:
• A relaxing 5-minute hand massage to leave your hands feeling soft and refreshed.
• If you would like more time to relax, you can extend the experience by booking the Relaxing Hand Massage add-on.
For All Pedicure Services
• Disposable gloves and a disposable pedicure kit (nail file, buffer, pumice, toe separator) are used for each treatment to ensure optimal hygiene.
• A folding pedicure bowl with a disposable pedicure liner is used for soaking.
• Cuticle nippers, nail clippers, and pushers are disinfected according to Essential Salon Hygiene standards and stored in sterilised tool bags.
For Heel Care:
• KDS Mint Callus Remover, a professional-strength callus softener, is applied to clean hard heels.
• Pumice and a disposable e-file pedi disc are used for effective exfoliation.
• Stainless steel foot scrapers and corn cutter blades are not used in my pedicure services.
Finishing the Pedicure:
• After soaking and cleaning the heels, nail painting begins.
•The pedicure finishes with a luxurious 5-minute foot massage, designed to melt away tension and improve circulation. As gentle, soothing movements nourish your skin, your feet will feel deeply relaxed, soft, and rejuvenated — the perfect end to a truly pampering experience.
Gel and Builder Gel Removal Process
The process for gel and builder gel removal on hands:
• Gently file the surface of the material.
• Apply foil wraps to allow acetone to break down the gel.
• Once softened, the gel is carefully scraped off to ensure the health of the natural nail.
• Clean and shape the nails for a neat finish.
• Apply OPI Cuticle Oil to nourish and hydrate the cuticles.
• If your nails are weak, I apply OPI Natural Nail Strengthener to help reinforce and protect the nails.
